For commercial buildings, the electricity board can come up with some concession in tariff if more than 75% of their lighting is done with LED. Also electricity boards should impose a penalty to commercial buildings if less than 25% of their lighting does not constitute LED lighting.

The electricity board should take into consideration before giving a new EB connection on how much percentage of LED lamps are installed in that building. If more than 50% is with LED lighting some concession can be given in caution deposits may start with even 0.5% and maximum would be 5% in their caution deposit if 100% lighting done with LED. Also the state and central government run offices must implement it first.

An LED costing Rs. 500 each is not at all feasible/affordable for a common man of India. The companies are spending crores on publicity but taking no steps to reduce the cost. Whatever the technology cost is, it cannot be 5 times more than a CFL and 50 times than a GLS lamp. Govt intervention is needed to control the prices and it should be taken as a welfare measure then money earning. A FAST TRACK R&D CENTER IS NEEDED TO bring the cost at par with a CFLs, if LED has to be popularised.

On 26-4-15 in his speech Maan Ki baat Respected PM Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi emphasized on MAYLA MATHE PE DHONA (carrying dirt on head). The phrase was headline in each and every NEWS of the day. Is He really concern about this and made provisions of reservation in LOK SABHA, RAJYA SABHA, STATE VIDHAN SABHA, MILITARY etc etc etc ...... Such reservations are in place in other aspects of life. Respected PM Mr NARENDRA DAMODARDAS MODI SIR do you have explanation or just a speech.

LED Lights - Adoption 1. More public awareness is required 2. Easy availability of LED lights at right prices 3. Competent Authority should monitor the prices charged by sellers, to eliminate whimsical pricing patterns 4. School children should be educated, who will act as a trigger in such buying decisions 5. Govt. / PSUs / SEBs should act as trendsetters 6. Inter State / Inter city conferences should be held Regards, Rajkaran Singh Bhatti 9780005656

1) encourage more and more indian companies for production of LED lights. more the production cheaper the rates. 2) at present LED lights available in the market from few companies are too expensive for common man and poor. 3) Under make in india program, LED bulbs and light can be manufactured even at small scale industry.4) Wide publicity on all media to be given to use LED lights in home and offices. 5) State electric boards to provide LED bulbs to all their consumers at nominal rates.
