The main problem with adoption of LED lights in home is its cost, Instead of its mass promotion, a phased adoption and much more concentration on research for cost effective led lights will attract peoples interest as well as it reduce burden of subsidy by government.

2in 1 Passenger safety and Revenue Avenue The railways has safety grills between the two tracks for the safety of the passengers.I think Railway Should Put LED Lights advertisement on the safety Grill or Clean Mumbai Green Mumbai Boards on the safety Grill. That will bring cleanliness and Revenue to Railways

we request you to stop import of led lights. if we make some plan than we can produce more than the required quantity in india. price will also be near to cfl. but this work is to be reserved for only ssi units. because when big companies came than they put up such types of conditions than maximum ssi units can not full fil that requirements. in india ssi units are going to close due to this reason only. otherwise ssi unit can produce maximum items and can generate lot of employment.

LED is very concept for save electricity...but the one thing is cost price is high (Rs 342 of 5 watt)...today now also most people use CFL bulbs rather than LED Bulbs. For lower middle class people money priorty comes first. So i request you "PRIME MINISTER" to reduce initiative cost of LED bulbs.

#Led Lighting A kind of national Led mission shall be launched with budgetary allocations for starting a manufacturing facility for making huge quantity of Led lights for Indian homes, offices and streets. It can have 3 branches with definite objectives to look into the overall aim of distribution & installation policy of Led lights in 3 areas as above. Incentives for early adoption can be given to the people as attractive discounts in electricity bills, volunteers to look after their areas.

LEDs are extremely energy efficient and consume up to 90% less power than incandescent bulbs. Since LEDs use only a fraction of the energy of an incandescent light bulb there is a dramatic decrease in power costs. Also, money and energy is saved in maintenance and replacement costs due to the long LED lifespan. The benefits of LED Lighting are endless. LED Lights are energy efficient, cost effective, durable and more. Energy efficient, long life, fast switching, eco friendly, safety, durable

Investment more but save energy which will automatically help pocket. Indian Standard needs immediate implementation along with laboratory who would certify the quality (performance) of LED. Chineese LED dumped in the market which needs to be addressed with Indian Standard. At present we my adopt in homes, offices, schools/colleges. In street we needs good lumen which is at present to study.
