The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.
 
Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Is skill development only for engineering/science? The National Law Schools in the country are not looked after at all. They suffer from lack of funds albeit having an enormous talent pool with students coming in through the highly competitive CLAT. No National Law School is of National Importance to India. But why? Is research and development in law not required? The pillars of the legal system suffer like anything due to the indifference shown towards them. This has to change.

Sir,our syllabus is more concerned with theory not with practicability .So,in the real sense we lack of skills which is mandatory for different sectors .So,i request you to change our syllabus and make it to cope with present industry.

Just by watching a cooking show, you cannot become a cook /chef. Similarly just by providing a degree/diploma/certificate courses, it is impossible to become an engineers. Be it is in mining or any other field. Hands on experience is a must for the mining field also. Apprenticeship is a must. Subject oriented training must be provided in those degree/diploma/certificates. It is really unfortunate that govt is still not encouraging practicals even though it knows the importance of it.

Nowadays in medical shop mostly non pharmaceutical staff are employed to sell medicine.This practice is highly dangerous for human health.Poor people used to get get medical advice and medicine from these kind of persons. There may be a system to ensure only licensed persons are engaged in medical shops.But it is not enforced effectively.We may have to face heavy penalty for this wrong practice.Pl issue a guide line to display the pharmaceutical staff photo and the licensee mandatory.

READ VERY VERY CAREFULLY... first of all sir; congrats for becoming the pm of india... there are two many issues two talk about but if u ask me .only one change can change the whole country but i will tell u if u promise to reply to me or my idea will be a big waste like every political paries before u. i m sure u ll do a lot of great things about our country.....but u need good team for that... u need young ,modern ,skillful people who are better all the diplomats.

There is lot of crowd at the railway stations. Can it be regulated? I realise, most of the people come to drop their friends/relatives and just stay there for a while till the train leaves. I suggest, the platform ticket should be sold time wise, say 5/- for 45 minute ticket; 10/- for 2hr ticket. This will push people to be out of station within 45 minutes and railway will also earn extra renenue from people who just roam around uselessly. Safetly will also improve as crowd reduces.

@PMOIndia, @narendramodi, Sir how good student am I it will depends on my result. Sir since last 5 month you never tell your indian voters that how and what steps/procedures your govt wants to give us for good transparent govt. Sir we have faith on you but what type of action will be going on by your govt & how much time it will take you have to announce both without wasting time. Time is very short.

Dear Modiji , our kisan has an important role to promote GDP but we have to protect our farmer by bazar culture. Govt. must have to control the difference between the price paid to farmer his aggro produce and the price paid by end consumer.Say onion price paid to farmer is 5 Rs per kg and consumer price is 100 which is injustice. govt should have to develop such mechanism so that this gap must be like that 5 to 20 or whatever is justified.
