The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources. India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica. Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower. Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

It must be a combination of both. First the mind be trained and next the body for effective training. The steps for implementing an effective skill development program are: 1) Forming a Sector Skill Council for Mining/Mineral & Metallurgy 2) Identification of right skill for these sectors by roping in Indian School of Mines/CCL/CMPDIL/CIMFR 3) Preparing the coursework/training module for these skills for productivity, safety and environment 4) Continuous quality improvement program for the same

sir,why we can not give opportunity to indian muslim in indian army as seprate batallian ??,this step will be confidence building among muslims and they will understand their accuntibility and responsibility as a indian,and it will help muslims to dissolve in nation main stream,,,thanks

सेवा में, आदरणीय भारत के प्रधानमंत्री जी.. महोदय दिनाकं २/११/२०१४ को मैंने रेडियो पर आप का कार्यक्रम "मन की बात " को सुना, जोकि मुझे काफी अच्छा लगा, और मै आपको और आपकी पूरी टीम को, जो परदे क पीछे रहकर आपको अच्छे सुझाव और निर्णय लेने में आपकी सहायक है, को बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद करता हूँ.. रेडियो पर जन जन तक " मन की बात " के कारण ही एक बार पुनः शहरी छेत्रो रेडियो जीवंत हो उठा है.. जोकि शहरो से विलुप्त होता दिक् रहा था....

Aaj maine movie dekhi saheed. There is a reason to watch that movie. In my company last 4 month salary is not coming and no body have guts to fight for it.man power is 1500.i am feeling shame on me.and after wachng that movie mujhe aisa laga aaj agar wo jinda hote aur aaj ke politicians ko dekhte to har ghari baar baar marte.kya sapna dekha tha unhone aur kya hal ho gaya hamare country ka.garib aur garib ho gaye amir aaj vi angrejo (polits) ke saath milkar raaz kar rahe hai.i will f8 4 my slry

Modi ji, You have already started, but All Celebrities, Page3 people, top businessmen of each town, Group leaders, every designated person, whose who of every small town should be given compulsory task of few Hrs per month to Give Back to the Society... and there should be a Govt. department to watch them, track them, do analysis of their work and Motivate them by awards and declare them real heros...They are getting so many things from Society, so its their humble duty to give something back !

The railway ministry must start online reservation facility for special need people. The certificate can be verified in train similar to senior citizen. Also in case of permanent disabilities the condition of making the railway concession certificate after every 5 years irrespective of age must be removed. In case disable people who does not need any escort should allow to travel with concession tkts.

Sir, I have a request, please try to take initiatives for reopening all closed industries in this country under any odd situation. Also, kindly look out the places in North-East area for huge development. Because North-East area is the most economic place of our country from where revenue can be generated a lot.

We have a very high hope that our respected Modiji will do something better for our country. However, to make Digital India, we think every Indian (except children below 18 years) should have a mobile phone. Even instead of spending so much money in conducting election, it will be better to conduct election and voting system through online. We think now we are in a situation to take necessary steps for survival of BSNL.
