There are places in India which have potential to grow forests but have been turned in to barred lands due to deforestration centuries ago and now appear as though arid or semi arid areas. Anantapur District in Andhra Pradesh have such potential. Encourage afforestration and renewable energy parallelly.

Awareness among people will play a significant role. Cleanliness of our air and water resources must be our national utmost priorities and should be maintained strictly. Alternative sources of energy like solar and wind energy must popularized in the masses.

Oxford Photovoltaics developed a material called methylammonium lead iodide —known collectively as perovskites and it could lead to a dramatic increase in the world’s use of power from the sun. This means that, like the most famous semiconductor of all, silicon, they can be used in solar cells. Perovskite solar cells converted 20% of the light falling on them into electricity and researchers are confident they can push it to 25% in the next few years. Perovskites are cheap to turn into cells

Along railways th'central India, there is huge potential of generating clean energy. Railway to plant trees & solar cells along railway. Clean energy generated & utilised by railway.Plants along railways will increase the greenery of India. To dig big lake beside the river in central India so that during rainy season, these lakes reserve a large volume of water which reduce the flood & this water to be used for agriculture & fish can also be cultivated here. It giving chance to earn money.

A big chunk of plastic waste is generated via disposable water bottles. These not only pollute the environment, but buying water bottles is also very expensive for middle and low income people. Most of the places in India do not have an access to clean drinking water and hence people have no choice but to purchase these water bottles. The solution does not require a huge investment from the government and will yield positive returns in the long term.

Just imagine if this process is repeated for 10 years then, we will have 500 crores of trees in 10 years. There are only a few challenges : (i) Places to be identified for plantation (ii) Encourage the mass for this drive. The solution for the first challenge is the road side places along with the national/state highways and other unused lands and second one is just you appealing to the mass and organize plantation events on monthly basis across the nation. Request you to think over it. Thanks .

Dear Sir, From last few months , one idea which can make our nation the most green place in this world was hitting my mind continuously. I would use a word group being regularly used by you "120 crores of Indians". The idea is that if at least 50 crores of indians out of 120 crores (excluding very old aged, extremely disabled,infants...) plant a tree in one year and take care of it till it is self reliant then we can have 50 crores of trees planted annually.
