Decentralize power so that people can generate their own electricity through Solar and Wind. But decentralizing power will be like hurting big giants like Tata, Reliance, Adani etc because these are those people who want power to be in their hands. Are we Independent in our own nation or are we slaves to the big corporate and companies.

Balancing development and environment is exactly what Landscape architects do. However this profession has not got government recognition even after 40 years in India. It includes social audit, ecocultural inputs and enhances the ecosystem after development.

i am from Delhi and understand delhi problem in much better way . As you all know that Delhi is one the most populated city in World . Green tribunal and SC has done very good deed to keep Delhi little bit liveable . We can make delhi more greener by taking small steps and initiatives .for example in Delhi we have more than 10K schools and each school have a major portion of land underutilized . We can encourage Schools to plant 5 trees per school in monsoon .

As the developed world is going away from fossil fuel like coal as a source of Power to renewal energy, India is poised to embrace the thermal power plants in a big way. India must go for the most advanced (and costly) “ultra-supercritical” plants, which burn powdered coal at high temperatures and adopt the most latest pollution technology to arrest the air polluted by recycling the intoxicants coming out of power plants' chimneys.

Instead of just focusing connectivity and construction of cities , action should also be taken towards extension of rivers and forests and connecting them with the cities and villages. this will benefit , the power situation , will provide basic resources for the people, will sustain the environment and will result in better well being in general.

Why can't we install a small wind mill in each compartments of trains and use the method of storing generated energy in form of any storage devices. A small wind mill can turn installed in four corners of each compartment and those energy can be used for running of trains, electricity by saving traditional method. These saved energy can be used instead of electricity for long running distances.

Current cities are victims of greedy builders, corrupt city administrations - Pune is at the top in this list. New trend of 'redevelopment' among builders, all open spaces within housing societies are vanishing very rapidly and towers are emerging; this is leading to constant rise is temperature. Because of shape of indian peninsula, this is drawing irregular rains from oceans in Maharashtra. Unless constructions are now stopped/banned in cities like Pune, environmental disaster is unavoidable.
