he vision of Belagavi as “Smart City” is the urban center of the future, made safe, secure environmentally green, and efficient because all structures - whether for power, water, transportation, etc. are to be designed, constructed, and maintained making use of advanced, integrated materials, sensors, electronics, and networks which are interfaced with computerized systems, tracking, and decision-making algorithms.

Provide proper sanitation around the city specially near outward region. Stress on water supply in each house. The street lamps should be working on solar energy . Provide two way roads to control the traffic .LPG gas should be provided by underground pipelines to each house to reduce the traffic and cost of transportation. Smart cards should be introduced for online transaction in every field eg. banking, marketing etc. Belgaum is compromising with tourism increase number of parks.

During my survey i came across a person who was a handicapped and is working as cobbler. He shared his problems with me like i have no problem nor i am against the proposal of smart city but before implementing the proposal keep in view our safety and our accomodation and then go with the proposal .So my suggestion is like before going with the proposal of smart city go for the creation of a smart society with a smart living and a smart city

Parking is a great problem in Belgaum. Basement clearance was started and stopped due to some unknown reasons. It should be done with top priority. Connectivity between NH4 and NH4A should be from outside the city. Now the NH4A is passing through the heart of city and traffic is very high.
