Dear President Obama, Welcome to India, as u had told, " “to protect a free and open Internet, extend its reach to every classroom, and every community, and help folks build the fastest networks.” @ State of Union Address. Do you have any plan for fast Net connectivity across the India???? as this is the need of the present time???

If we want India to compete with world and look for a vision of Digital India we need to create a strong telecommunication backbone. We have to address both the aspects viz. reach and speed. We cannot sole depend on wireless technology as it has spectrum limitations and this becomes critical for a populated country as our. Government should back telco's to put better fibre infrastructure which will give affordable and high speed broadband to SME's and normal users with next gen access.

States like UP and TN have connected many people to the mainstream by distributing TAbs or laptops, though their motives were politically motivated. If the centre brings out anoble scheme to distribute internet-facilitated gadgets like Aakash tablets to the poor masses, it can help in bridging the divide and bringing all together. The key to retain the gadget so that they don't sell it is to have an AADHAR no. enabled password lock, and SIM change facility only in verifiable govt e-centres
