Sir, We have ample barren lands with scanty rains or at times flooded with sudden down pour, the water does not seep under ground due to parched sun burnt effect. With a minimal effort we can convert these barren land by punching holes 5 inch diameter and 5 inch depth with a width of 10 metres. During rains water fills these holes and gradually the soil becomes conducive for vegetation. Natural growth of weeds, herbs, shrubs and tress gradually grows into green patches, thereby stroring ground water, preventing floods. This can be done in the panchayath level with central funds and NGOs'.

I am really interested in the working of brain (neurosciences) and I researched a bit on Implanting and Erasing brain memories for people having PTSD- post traumatic stress disorder. This has not been explored to large extent yet but using optogenetics we can easily manipulate engrams and neurons to act as per our will . This can also be a prospective solution for Patients with degenerative brain diseases as we can reach to the neurons to manipulate them. However no solid research has been done on usage of optogenetics for such diseases , however , attached below is a project made by me on "IMPLANTING AND ERASING BRAIN MEMORIES ' to cure PTSD patients or others.
