Some fake institutes are providing degrees/diplomas in Ayurveda or providing the degree with nomenclature similar to BAMS [i.e. BAMS (AM)]. Some people are doing practices with these fake degrees in India.

Intervention Needed: Please give the directions to the concerned to provide equal opportunity of BAMS doctors in admission of MPH courses and also for public health jobs.

Please issue the direction to include BAMS doctors in universal health coverage. Please give instructions to the concerned for the involvement of Ayurveda graduates in planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Surveillance in the various National Programs. Also give recommendation to start the Ayurveda strength based National programs like Geriatric care, Mother & child care etc. through Ayurveda.

3. Engage BAMS Lady Doctors in Maternal and Children Health Program: After doing graduation BAMS lady doctors generally take to practice obs and gyne. They are valuable service providers in reproductive, maternal and children health. But certain laws and legalities come in their way and are generally questioned which does not appear appropriate. They find themselves disabled despite having a degree in medicine.

Jobs like epidemiologists/consultants which have a strong public health component in it are especially reserved for MBBS allopathic graduates, while it is an essential fact that allopathic is more concerned with the curative factors of disease than preventive aspects. Persons having BAMS+MPH qualification are not considered for post of public health consultant / Epidemiologists/other jobs related to public health field. ECHS and other defense services schemes also discriminate with Ayurveda doct

2. Discrimination in Admission and Placements of BAMS Doctors in Public Health Courses and Jobs: BAMS doctors also face discrimination in admission and job opportunities of public health. As mentioned earlier, the institutes like PGIMER, Chandiagrh are not allowing the BAMS doctors to take admission in MPH courses. BAMS doctors also faced discrimination in the job opportunity due to mind set of allopathic system oriented health officials.

dear PM, the punctuality in central government offices should be supplemented with Flexible Timings Scheme. For example, if a person comes half an hour late , he can sit half an hour extra in evening to compensate. Particularly in NCR, it is very difficult to observe strict punctuality.If Flexible timings introduced it will help all.

In India many Govt and private hospitals have the NABH(national accreditation board for hospitals and healthcare providers) quality tool for benefits of the patients and pateint care.But now a days many people dont know what is NABH. Why does it stands for and whats the purpose of NABH.so i think if Govt provide these through a third party to the hospital then Govt should concern about the awarness of it between the people through advertisements and many more.its a really beneficiary for us.

Number of doctors, dentists are providing services by joining hands with some NGOs, Government under NEHM scheme should recognize some NGOs or should start promoting NPHO (non profit health organizations)with some govt. help, to provide services to public in remote and tribal area and not only to poor but also to the persons in need with certain criteria s like non tobacco users and non alcoholics. This will help in spreading message of no tobacco and no to alcohol.
