First step would be to train Medical personnel in the international disease classification system to ensure uniformity. Next would be to provide an appropriate platform for data entry. This will have to be offline given the vagaries of Internet in rural India. Mobile data entry would also have to be enabled so as to popularise the system. Alternate practitioners may have to be brought in at done stage. A national consensus on terminologies of Ayurveda might be necessary.

Associate each individual patient record with e-Aadhaar uuid number .Every industry moving towards digitization why not Healthcare Providers ..and Doctors ..? This will avoid wrong Rx,repetitive lab/scan tests .Which will in turn increase the government revenue by making digital health records & digital billing system .

First before taking any step we should think about the the details of the patient from its birth like the aadhar. Can anybody imagine if a permanent capacity-staff nurse awarded president award for being available to serve patients not caring for day or night whereas in the same hospital a doctor serving as CMP 24*7 unofficially deprived off his fix emolument with TA, irregularly paid fixed emoluments with arbitrary deductions ,seiged private property...in another hospital so many acts done which could not be pursued legally because our procedure is criminal friendly(in effect rather text).

medical practice is equivalent to defense system(military) likewise not to deem it (apt for )private business: particularly no scope for caste or age bar rather ability & eagerness must prevail.

An integrated electronic system - which has a unique identifier for the patients. Patients refer to this unique ID when they visit a doctor and lab, all diagnosis notes, medication, reports are tagged to this ID with Doctor and other details. Data-privacy by enabling views for restriction controllable by patients for non-critical fields. This will create a culture of accountability in medical profession and make it economical for patients to avail the service alongside medical insurance.

N.e.H.A. could work efficiently if policy directives are stringent , practical and data feeding(uploading)expedient enough. no doubt our union govt. is honest but we have to inculcate honesty in high officials , may need deterrent punishment for corruption ,as our PM rightly said about framing new laws deleting impractical & imbalanced laws , having latest law for crimes too.

N.e.H.A. is a good idea but it must be mandatory to put all details on website as well meticulous audit by stringent & non-corrupt authorities because a close-knit nexus has been formed in officials & clerks who make their personal profit out of national assets & get rid off honest persons. Is there any possibility for a temporary/contractual appointee to work efficiently under corrupt authorities-especially in permanent capacity?
