A very good usecase of Aadhar ID IN order to make it more robust and scalable standards need not be set only at national but international level In India where we have only 7 docs per 10K people, much below WHO standards or any other standard, this initiative can do wonders with minimum cost Awareness campaigns about common diseases should be taken on priority. Necessary information regarding should a part of school curriculum and entrance exams. Free magazines to promoting awareness

The core on any e-program in the key issue of internet connectivity, especially in the rural areas where this NeHA is necessary.I suggest GOI partner more effectively and constructively with the true spirit of cooperative federalism with the states to ensure net connectivity even to the remotest of Indian villages, until this is done NeHA may not full unleash its true desired potential.

Sir, NeHA is ambitious considering the present sparse healthcare infrastructure but it is why it is ineluctable to effect equitable healthcare dispensation. Evolvement of NeHA can have multiple positives which can be levered across number of disciplines. NeHA cannot be substitute for voids in medical infrastructure and its envisaged purpose and principles can only be realized with optimum resource deployment. Enumerated attachment. , Regards.

New Health Insurance Scheme in lieu of CGHS - Central Government Employees & Pensioners Health Insurance Scheme (CGEPHIS). Existing CGHS needs to be totally revamped, the chief reason for this being that CGHS provide only a miniscule section. Since the Central Government employees community are posted in every nook and corner of the country, including remote areas, the existing CGHS is limited only few cities across India. The rest are covered by CS(MA) Rules, which seldom serve the real purpose

Recent comments by BJP MPs on tobacco are every disappointing. There is evidence worldwide & from various research in India that tobacco is dangerous for health & a cause and contributor of different types of cancer. For govt representative to make statements that tobacco does not cause cancer is alarming and dangerous. There is clear conflict of interest when a bidi business owner is part of a committee responsible for tobacco related legislation. Message is: govt does not care of public health
