The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Respected Sir, - On the birth of every girl child some amount say Rs. 5100/- or 11000/- may be deposited with the name of girl child - accounts can be operated on the line of Public provident fund - Compulsory deposit in account by the parents minimum of rs. 1000/- in account for a period of 10 years - tax exemption can be given for deposit in this account extra to 80C so that rich person also motivate to more investment in account - Girls upto the age of 10 years as must be covered

educating parents especially women will give a drastic change which leads to reduce this discriminatory social construct.In our country this inequality is very much in rural areas.we have to educate the rural people at first through printing or electronic media.movies,dailyserials should be in such away that will make people to realize the rights,importance that should be given to girls,gender inequality.educating children from schooling will also help to reduce this inequality..

Sir, Meri bhi ek pyari beti hai. maine bhi uski padhai me apni saari chhamta ka yogdaan diya hai.. per sir ek samsya hai jiske liye mai apko sujhav dena chahta hu ki admission ke samay Delhi jaise Mahanagar me parents ko apne bacho ke liye bade papad belne padte hai.. kuchh aisa ho sake ki admission ki is killat se bacha ja sake to achha hoga....

Dear Sir, I agree that drugs are eating our youth but along with drugs bring tobacco and liquor under same umbrella.S imple steps like asking for age proof fornsale of liquor and tobacco, make some mechanism so that it cant be sold without mentioning name and id no of th person to whom it is sold

स्वच्छता अभियान को आगे बढाने के मार्ग में छोटे जिला और गाँव कस्बों पर विशेष ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है .वैसे वैसे न जाने कितने शहर हमारे देश में हैं जहां स्वच्छता का नाम नहीं है .कूड़ा फेकने के लिए नगर निगम की तरफ से कोई उचित व्यवस्था नहीं की जाती .लोग कूड़ा फेकें तो किधर फेंके .शौच के लिए उचित व्यवस्था नहीं है लोगो को विवशतः संडक के किनारे ही बैठ जाना पड़ता है .गंगियों का भण्डार बिखरा पडा होता है .लोग गंदगियों में जिहे को विवश हो जातें हैं .धीरे धीरे यही लोगों की आदत बन जाती है .

Dear Sir ,to Save the Girl Fetus we must start Promoting that X & Y chromosome comes from Male only and that decides the sex of Fetus. We must stop blaming/torture our Females for birth of Girl Child. Every citizens should understand that. Need a revolutions to save our Daughters, Unborn Girl Child.
