Hello, Higher education should focus more around R&D (i.e, in manufacturing). I personally feel India is missing out on realizing it's potential beyond the IITs. Research should be treated as a way of life and not just a job. The culture can be developed by inviting renowned researchers from within and outside India (very important) and supporting them to spend a semester working at potential public institutes. Govt should regulate the higher institutes, make them smaller & more specialized.

A basic army training should be mandatory for all schools and students of all ages. It will not only enforce discipline but also inculcate respect for all beings, respect for the nation, order, grace and sense of social responsibility. Self defence training will benefit both the boys and the girls equally. The same people of India when in the army can follow a decorum, then why can't the whole nation do the same? It is only the matter of the right training and education.

I am reading many deaths due to electrocution. May I suggest the school curriculum contain life safety knowledge and dangers and safe way of using electricity etc over the years from basic level to higher. Even class 5 student should possess basic safety and dangers of electricity. It needs nationwide campaign and also penalty on electrical utilities if they compromise on public safety.

art and craft is the best way to identifys childs problematic behaviour ie the reason behind the bad behaviour(example: child will able to show somthing which is making them unhappy via drawing somthing which they cannot express in their talk example: if the child is being physically abuse by his/her parents or others then child maight draw somthing related to that and this will help the teacher to dentify the problem which child is facing.. so art and craft is very important in chidren's life..
