Dear PM, The education we get in INDIA is just to become an Engineer today. A Student of India is bound to be an Engineer today (75% chance), but apart from that we lack ethics education. How about the idea that we begin the moral education as it was there thousands of year ago in BHRATVARSHA. Scriptures study and ancient history should be incorporated into the system. We (the government) should show the students, the scopes of other type of jobs other than engineering. Thank You

Children should be taught basic Laws. This will help future victims with knowledge of how they can use legal system to get justice. And it will act as a deterrent for future criminals, if punishments for various crimes are also taught.

The teacher is the most important resource in schools. B.Ed is the only graduate course of one year duration right now. Change this to three years, with one year or more spent in consolidating content in their subject, one year in communication technologies and one year in picking up the skills and other training needed to competently perform in a classroom environment and later ensure in-job retraining. Finally, respect the profession by paying them well and also to attract the best to teaching

Private Schools are charging huge donations in the name of admission fees or development fee. This needs to be eradicated completely. Due to this everybody does not get equal opportunity. Many times excellent students from lower class of the society do not get enough exposure. It is also very important that levels of government schools are raised. High quality teachers & staff is recruited in the government schools. There should not be any difference between a government school & private school.
