The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

Well decision taken by government #Indeed. Radio is very powerful media to Communicate with the people of our nation and many of us are used to this medium since decade for many reasons . moreover , most of the time it never spread fake news and never misguide , as many media does via television. better Medium for us to listen and speak to each other.

Radio is the sending and receiving of electromagnetic waves carrying sound messages.  With the development in technology , Radio has also developed.Radio is known as one of the best ways for communication.It is also a source of entertainment.

According to my experience... From my childhood i listen the RADIO.... Which give us the news about our world and climates... Day to day life and some technical information which helps us in many situations... In village are the peoples are suffering from flood and natural disaster.. The radio help them to know the weather conditions so they are helpful... Also it helps them in which way they will plantation etc.... scientific research and the new innovation ideas the radio give us..

FM is able to provide near interference free reception, and it was for this reason that it was adopted for the VHF sound broadcasts. So,never lose the evergreen technology .
