The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

माननीय महोदय F M रेडियो जिनके पास T V नहीं है, रेडियो मनोरंजन के साथ- साथ उनके लिए बहुत उपयोगी है ! माननीय मोदी जी के प्रोग्राम (मन की बात) से रेडियो की बहुत अहमियत बढ़ गई है और F M रेडियो की आमदनी भी ! धन्यवाद

ये खबर सुनकर बेहद खुशी हुई कि फिर से FM की नीलामी,ऑक्शन शुरू हो रही है जिसे बहुत समय पहले हो जाना चाहिए था,आज हमारे भारत वर्ष में कुल सामुदायिक रेडियो व प्राइवेट रेडियो कुल मिलाकर लगभग 250 से 300 के मध्य होंगे जबकि अकेले अमेरिका ही में ये संख्या कई हज़ार है हमारे देश की आबादी के हिसाब से में मानता हूं अभी भी कई हज़ार रेडियो स्टेशनों की आवश्यकता है लेकिन साथ ही साथ रेडियो stations को नई तकनीकों से पूर्ण होना चाहिए।ताकि नए जमाने के बदलते तकनीक युग मे कंपीटिशन में बने रहने में कोई दिक्कत न होने पाए।

FM radio is the best tool to communicate people throughout the India.It is still the only best entertainment for pepople of every aage.Now it is more widened than before some yars back ,but as our Beloved PM Shri Narendra Modi has initiated it to bring its past glory.Now more FM stations should be brought for some smaller town/areas where it will help our farmers. Another important thing is that it can healt awareness in rural areas.

When FM was started the main aim was creating social awareness but today the scope has changed only to entertainment....

Now only cinema songs are played in FM station Pl change as NEWS channel becauseRadio easy access to public. In FLLOD storm time the NEWS willbe allowed present STATION also. 2.EVERY DISTRICT a FM station will be allowed
