Radio is one of the most popular and affordable means for mass communication, largely owing to its wide coverage, terminal portability, low set up costs and affordability. In India, radio coverage is available in Amplitude Modulation (AM) mode (Short Wave /Medium Wave) and Frequency Modulation (FM) mode.
