All cable operators openly flout the rules and they don't follow any regulations. Still no action on them.

Cable operators like Hathway, do not offer free channels of choice to consumer. Moreover in Maharashtra, they made operator cartel that make sure we do not get free channels per our choice. The channels offered free by them are ads channels, unwanted regional channels to coerce purchase of non free channels. I gave up cable connection and now prime TV viewing is via mobile apps like Sony Liv, Hotstar. Paying for apps gives freedom to view what I want to view. Bye bye cable, dish and set top box.

trai is only worried about the customers ,but I feelin trai should also be concern and worried about the LCO and the employment they are giving, please analyze how many employes are lay off by the LCO, how many cable networks are in loss and finding it impossible to continue.Business create jobs and create wealth for the country so please consider this angle also.
