Like Gujrat's water canals, we can have solar cells all over the railway tracks across India. This will generate solar power and keep the passenger cool. This is however highly investment intensive. But good in long run.

Internal & external space of bogies have to be used extensively on advertising which will create huge revenue to railways/govt. And also stations can offer cheaper cost for publishing/advertising for all there local industries which are around the local stations. which will create better awareness of the company and also the tourism places around the stations will help the local people with job opportunity and income for villagers/town people.

After Defense its Railways has the highest land parcels which needs to be utilized effectively. this should be divided into urban & rural. In urban areas railway land should be extensively used for advertising/parking lots/food outlets/solar power generation for the stations. in rural areas vegetables/furits can be grown on railway land and renewable energy production to cater to the entire railway needs for its zone. All these on lease basis which will create huge revenue to the govt/railways.

On Azmerigate side of New Delhi Railway Station, adequate facility of Urinals is not there. People can be seen urinating wherever they find place. There are no dustbins either for disposing off garbage.Situation at the bus stand there is equally bad. We can not expect responsible behaviour from people without providing necessary facilities for cleanliness.
