One of the Key indices of a Smart City is better education and health. Given the area of UT Chandigarh educational institution (Schools and Colleges) are very well managed. Many of the Govt. schools in Chandigarh are at par with best schools in Chandigarh. But still we want our residents to give their views/suggestions on how we can assure global standards in our schools & colleges.

Chandigarh is a cradle of health care not only for its own residents (population 10.5 lacs) but also to the residents of neighbouring states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Jammu & Kashmir. However for meeting the utmost satisfaction of our residents and to match the global standards for health scenario, we need suggestions/views of our residents.

For meeting the standards of HDI (Human Development Index) & MDG (Millennium Development Goals) we need Smart Ideas/Suggestion from our residents on education and health sector.

I would like to comment on the education part of this discussion. Education in India is fairly good, with new IITs and IIMs cropping up every other year. However,we must remember that IITs and IIMs, science and math should NOT define Indian education. It is time we accepted liberal arts, humanities and social sciences, and created good educational institutions for the same. Indian students must be able to stay in their own country and receive quality education,no matter where their interests lie

Good education does not mean the marks they score or the % of people who get passed. It does mean how much the person is able to understand how he make the existing society and either make it a better place or live in it peacefully. In 120 crore Indians thousands of Einsteins are there but due to lack of educational facilities they are still normal people. To change the standard they need to change the entire system. Not just one or two changes can make any difference.

We have to arrange an organ donation camp in this parliament session so the best message will pass to the public and all over India. The people will motivate and show more interest in organ donation.

I am going to suggest on organ donation. Now the procedure of organ donation is long i.e. not smooth so the willing donors are not comfortable with the long procedures .A solution for that is, we can make online website for organ donor and make online registry by which we can include online doctors and all authority concern with it. Each person is having their own id and password for login and the procedure will make easy.

Education can be more fun if it is on IT sector like on tab as more esay to carry it and we will be able to our work more essay with a good understanding H W also we will then not have any issue to the teacher that we have not to pressure up that we dont know we will have more friendly way with teacher and student thats why!? THEN WE CAN SAY A Teacher is friend in need A Guide in difficulty And A philosopher when it deals the complexity's of life.

When it comes to the education in the field of Pharmacy, our country is way behind compared to the western world. Universities around India are providing PharmD education with clinical knowledge, but there is no jobs to utilize these clinical pharmacists in hospital wards.
