As a citizen, we all should contribute in the growth of the country and most important is economic growth. This can be achieved by taxes. Gov should repeal the rule of NRI criteria of stay in India and tax at flat rate of 5~10%. This will have 2 effects, 1st, Indians who work abroad and maintain NRI status to avoid tax will work in Indian industry such as shipping which is facing shortage of seafarers and 2ndly country will gain tax and revenues which will help in improving the conditions.

First of all this is great move by our PM, Congratulations Sir. To be Ambassadors for Brand India, we as NRIs have to be very careful of what, how and why in whatever we do here in abroad. Our behaviour will give first impression of being Indian and how India thinks. Volunteer, Donate and Change yourself to involve more and get out the right word for India.

Many NRIs are eager and interested to invest in their mother land. However, not all of them fortunate to have trustworthy friends and relatives to take care of their invested properties. We need govt. organization to intervene and support NRI investors on investing on moderate housings and fertile lands that allow much needed ones (non-urban) to consume with govt. governance. It would be a win-win situation. For e.g. partnership in building urban hospitals, schools, even housings.

I think we shall have a Fuel Reserve Fund by increasing the Fuel Cost by Rs.1.00 and keep it as a reverse to make sure that any up & down in Price is being taken care through reserve... similarly for all essential commodities so that the poor can have a fixed price all the time

My salutations to our Prime Minister We are planing quite a lot of things day-in and day-out, but not many plans that have been made are actually implemented, Lets complete the yet-to-finish plans, and then think about the rest, do not prolong and move todays work for tomorrow, fix-it today!!!

Shree Modiji, I salute you and your Government for saying NO to WTO agreement. This is first time I am seeing one Indian Government say NO to such issues. If you can propose Bonds against the black money which will be 50% of the value of the black money for 20 years without interest and balance 50% for the government to develop infrastructure, health, education system. Government can keep the names of the people confidential because most of them are politicians so they can keep clean image

Research is the basic step for development. I think Govt should do something to get back our well qualified reserchers from foreign countries. And also promote the reserch subjects to our young Engineers. As i know their are very few engineers who wants to go for research Subjects. So, Govt should promote Research work.

We need a solid platform for that. As most of the NRIs are employees (lack entrepreneurial skills to do a business), there should be solid leadership/guidelines to invest. Projects like Cochin International Airport is one of the best examples (even small scale Kerala businessmen in the Middle East invested in this project). If a return is assured the government and the best infra structure provided, investments will flow, that's sure!
