I am in Middle East for the last 18 years and what i have seen that Indians from different states form their own socio cultural club/forums and some places citizens from each district within a state form their own forum dividing themselves state wise/ district. This is really sickening and does not project Indian Diaspora positively. So my suggestion is that Indian Embassy in these countries should not allow such forums to be formed and let embassy run one forum for all Indians.

There should be efficient and cost effective on line money transfer channels preferably SBI to send money to India, without any need to visit SBI office. Presently NRIs have to use host country based firms.

A long unfulfilled dream of NRIs is Voting Rights being physically present in their respective country of residence. Nothing concrete has been done so far in this direction. Now with the new government's keenness in e-governance, I think this can be achieved moreeasily and effectively as each individual NRI is identified with unique passport number. Looking forward to early resolution of this issue

Our MEA should take up with Canadian Visa authorities to simplify procedures for transit visas to remove difficulties of Indians visiting Naigara falls. Similarly we should remove difficulties for visiting foreigners for short stints to say TajMahal or Ajantha.

Every NRI should be treated properly similar to their local citizens in other country & Government of India consulate must provide proper protection Support & guidance of our NRI in other countries.NRI must invest some portion of their income in Indian investment & special schemes to be provided for NRI's for investing them in India remotely for their & countries financial growth.

Allowing us to keep our Indian citizenships when (almost inevitably) we are offered the passports of our host nations. The fact that the Government interprets the Constitution in such a closed-minded way, ignoring the fact that hundreds of thousands of skilled Indians emigrate each year and are forced to relinquish their ties to their homeland (for reasons as simple as acquiring residency and benefits afforded to them by richer countries) costs India valuable citizens and investment.

First of all, we should understand that each of us staying abroad ( NRI) are the brand Ambassadors for India, and behave accordingly. I would love extend my service to the local Doha Consular office of they are in need. They can contact me any time.

things are their but not happening.just highlight the work. my idea.make brand ambassadors for a set of villages.anyone having fame.give them money and ask them to give 24 hours in a month fr the country for the selected villages.this will pull media.this is turn pull interest of villagers as well as competition among them to become better....example give 20 villages of maharastra to amir khan.similarly 20 to nana 20 to ganguly and so on. this program can pull all the INDIA together
