The "Digital Safety Dialogue" is a fantastic opportunity to focus on real-world, everyday security challenges faced by the average Indian internet users.
1. The Financial Safety Theme
This theme addresses the most painful and common cybercrime: losing money.
• Stop the Scam Call: How to Protect Your Wallet in the Digital Age | Phishing, Social Engineering, OTP fraud, and digital payment scams that target bank accounts. | •The OTP/Link Trap: How criminals manipulate users into sharing one-time passwords or clicking malicious links (especially via WhatsApp/SMS)
for quick cash.

Create a financial awareness in every village & taluk levels on a regular basis. Even now most of people don't know on how to use the bank account & they will be easily cheated with fraudsters.
Every Gram panchayat office should voluntarily take a initiative on conducting regular financial awareness camp & on digital frauds.
Reduce the limits on UPI payment on the first transaction to a new party. This will help in minimising the loss

Digital safety is no longer optional—it’s essential! Awareness and responsible online behavior can protect us from scams, fraud, and cyber threats. Let’s share tips, learn from each other, and build a safer Digital Bharat together!
Top Tips for Staying Safe Online:
1. Use Strong Passwords: Combine letters, numbers, and symbols, and avoid using the same password across multiple accounts.
2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Adds an extra layer of security for your accounts.
3. Think Before You Click: Avoid clicking on suspicious links or downloading unknown files.
4. Update Regularly: Keep your devices, apps, and antivirus software up to date.
5. Protect Personal Information: Share personal details only on trusted platforms.
6. Be Wary of Scams: Verify messages, emails, and calls claiming urgent action or money requests.
7. Secure Wi-Fi Networks: Use strong passwords and avoid public Wi-Fi for sensitive transactions.
