The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in community-led Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the city profile, administrative efficiency and citizen engagement with the draft Smart City Proposal so that will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your Participation is important for us.

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

The smart city scheme is the one and only way to develop the centennial old town pasighat. for many years the development has been minimum. the lack of electricity, the lack of awareness ,the lack of discipline in infrastructure like roads ,bridges etc. it is high time the central govt ponder our problems select it on top 20 cities.

There should be street light and constructed road, public toilet should be good maintained free Wi-Fi by government should be given good shopping malls and multiplexes.

1.Water supply and sewerage system to be improved. 2.Electricity to be given priority 3.All road communication to be improved.

Proper town planning , arrangements of hydro-electricity,spacious lands for establishment like roads,water supply,education,provision of employments to young generation,availability of all required facilities,spacious lands for disposing garbage etc.establishment of proper medical facilities.Boarding of roads for which we need lands and avoid accidents.proper town planning for every official establishment like education,medical,agricultural product and solution of unemployment problems.

As we know that there is shortage of electricity in Pasighat,I would like to give a suggestion, it may cause conflict between citizen of Pasighat but i would like to say that a Dam should be made for Pasighat .but Pasighat may give supply to other state.

I would like to draw your attention to urgent need to reform the current municipal system. Under the current system corruption is rampant, and the welfare schemes are abused by corrupt politicians and officials. There is poor planning and even poorer implementation of rules and regulations. I request your good offices to take urgent attention of rampant corruption, official apathy at municipal level to improve the working condition of Indian citizens.

Pasighat being the first centenarian old town of a.p has been blessed with the central govt initiated smart city scheme,just letting you know that this is the only chance for Arunachal Pradesh to pull back and regain its motion towards development. Pasighat being located far north east near china is still in need to see the proper electricity,proper,roads,infrastructures,plannings .Hopefully this SC scheme makes a difference.

The Local people allege that the authority despite observing under delay in construction of 132 kv tower line from Aalo to Pasighat is remaining silent over the issue.It was supposed to be complete in 2009,but the construction work is not progressing under mysterious reason.The people in all on unholy percentage sharing of the tunal for the under delay in installation.
