The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in community-led Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the city profile, administrative efficiency and citizen engagement with the draft Smart City Proposal so that will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your Participation is important for us.

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

An Apex committee (AC) headed by the Secretary MOUD and comprising representative of retailed minestrone and organisation will affront the proposal for Smart Cities mission,Monitor their progress and realist funds,this committee will meet periodically ,as considered necessary.The AC will consist of the following indicative mentions:

To top the first top twenty,we need to educate every individual,appeal every stakeholder and civil society to co-operate with District administrative ,Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC)and Panchayat Leaders to clean up Pasighat township and it neighboring peripheral area,then we will achieve Pasighat as a Smart City among the others.

At present the gap between the poor and rich are normal in range as the people their destruct is self-sufficient and completely defendant upon the agriculture product for e.g there is no slum dwellers,beggars etc at Pasighat.

The most important necessity is that smartcity pasighat be able to generate employment opportunities for the unemployed youth here.Pasighat is rich in many ways- naturally,culturally and resource wise.The handicrafts and local industries need to be encouraged to be able to create employment and to increase the economic activity in the region.

The vision statement and goals are well appreciable for pasighat smart city conceptual; plan but it is important that they plan it all in an efficient and sustainable manner so that the future generation are not mandated to compromise with their resources.

Pasighat can be a regional hub of institutions as there is already a lot of existing institutes in the town.If these can be made as a target goal to attract people from in and around the region,it will well feed the towns popularity and economic growth.Also,there is a need to provide for these population that comes from in and around the city.
