The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in community-led Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the city profile, administrative efficiency and citizen engagement with the draft Smart City Proposal so that will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your Participation is important for us.

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

Water & Electricity , Safety & Security, Solid waste management, Transport, Roads and parking is main problem of pasighat. Kindly allocate more budget for this .

This will show the vision of smart city . Infrastructure planning and design all are fantastic use resources such as energy or water as efficiently as possible

Excellent initiative to invite suggestions from residents. Would like the authorities to work towards Hawker Management and Traffic Management.

Very Good proposal for smart city All Solutions are selected for implementation based on citizen feedback and other stakeholder engagement housing for all at affordable price should be available.

Affordable housing especially for the poor for below poverty line Citizen housing should be created from Smart City fund or they may be given loan for that purpose in very low interest and very small installment. All housing should be made plan wise as per rules.Fund collection is only possible with elaboration and extensive tapping of all sources of revenue property taxes ,advertisements etc,couples with astute collection of user pay charges across the full range of utilities.

Sanitation management including solid waste management,the door-to -door waste collection also should be on a regular basis and the labours hired to do the jobs be paid regularly so that they dont lag in their jobs as is the scene in many municipalities where the labours involved are on contingency basis and therefore are not regular in their duties as they compensate with their wages by working in other part time sectors.To execute any well decision,all other parameters should be well defined.
