The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the selection of the Area Based Development and Pan City with the overall draft Smart City Proposal so that it will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your participation is important for us!

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

For a better understanding, a draft Smart City Proposal is attached which explains the Area Based Development and Pan City initiatives, which has been shared at the link given below.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – “a Credible Smart City”.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 28th February, 2017.

I feel that the following keys points should be included in the SCP of Pasighat 1. 100% implementation of E-Governance. 2. make pasighat an Smart Urban City bt not an Urban Jungle 3. explore tourism, use modern technology but also preserve and keep the touch of customs and traditions 4. maximum use of renewable energy 5. Establishing Pasighat as the Educational Hub of the entire state

sustainable development plan to not compromise on the needs of the future generation and develop a futuristic plan in such a way that decades from now,it doesnt hamper the new plans that they would make.A master plan in such a way that it incorporates all spheres of different sections of the society and talks of equity and resource availability for all!
