The issue of social access and equity are far too complex. While the gaps in average enrolments between disadvantaged groups like SC, ST, Muslims, girls and Children with special needs and the general population have decreased, there is still a considerably large gap in learning levels with historically disadvantaged and economically weaker children having significantly lower learning outcomes. Large and growing learning gaps threaten the equity gains achieved on the enrolment front because children with lower levels of learning are more likely to drop out. We need to examine current interventions in bridging the gender and social gaps and identify focused strategies for effective inclusion.

Acc. to RTE proper provisions should be made in schools for special children like ramping, washrooms, wheelchair etc. but it is seen that no school bother about these. Govt. inspection teams should take stern action against such schools if they don't fulfill such type of needs of special children. Action must be taken to implement inclusive education. It shouldn't be limited on paper work only.

Neeraj gupta Inclusive education should not limited just as a topic taught in teacher's seminars. We should make our efforts whole heartedly for children with special needs. There is no seperate school campuses for these children. Many schools for special children are running with normal govt. school campuses & bcoz of this they don't get proper space for the aids/equipments belong to such children.Even public not aware of such type of schools due to non availability of seperate campuses.

Here government should make a law for everyone. Here every govt. employee's children are should be study in govt. school. Because if govt should done it then the education system of India become lucrative for everyone and all children have equal level of study. other benefit for this is that govt. pay to every employee 18000-20000 per year for study allowance, it will be stopped.

Kindly make inclusive education a reality. My daughter is doing her BA from IGNOU, but there is no info regarding services of a writer at the regional centre or from Delhi. Tried a lot but no use. Who can help me? Her exams will be in June...really worried. All promises and appreciation only on paper. Life is still a bitter struggle.

we are making a chain system and our first target is to make rohtak 100% literate in 1 year and every student goes to school. our main motto is to choose children from slum area and children are not capable to go to school due to physical and social reasons and specially those financially not capable and migrants and from slum and workers child becouse every child have right to learn and make his/her dream true and then admit to them to the nearest govt. school
