India needs to rethink and go back to its roots and bring to focus those lost wisdom dormant in our culture and tradition.
Right from the primary phase the learners special interest and potential needs to be kindled.
This uniform education (Macaulay') and presently the American CBCS systems in higher education certainly needs to be revamped.
Let there be marks given for all round personality training.
Mere marks are not indicators of true education.
Knowledge should transform into wisdom.

It's not matter of family status or parental income every children should be given equal opportunity. It shouldn't be case minister are providing their children english medium education and for poor children they are proving education in regional medium. In higher studies poor children have to fight with English..inclusive means same for all.Either everyone should learn or everyone should ignore

The first and foremost action need to be intiated is install bio-metric assessment attendance for all teachers in all goverment schools across India. In most states in our country the quality of education is not on line with RTE-2009. Especially in rural area ,It is not the quality of education but it is accessability of teachers.TPTF President,Rnagareddy Dist.Telengana State.

The pioneers who worked for spreading education among the masses should be made known to all Indians as a measure of gratitude. Srimanta Sankaradeva (1449-1568) worked all through his life to lift the downtrodden and spread education among them through his writings. He was born in Assam, but worked all over Northern India in his time. Our school curriculum should mention heroes like him and let the young generation know about these heroes of yester-years.

There should be only one single universal school education board in the country, well integrated with higher education system of the country. One common entrance exam for education upto graduation level (may be for Engg, Medical or any other course). Education policy must focus on Quality as well as ease of operation and approach for a common man.

Sir their is lot of talk to create new infrastructure for schools, collage and other. this requires lot of capital expenditure. alternatively, currently we can use the existing school collages all over india for after they complete there regular day work.i.e in evening.this will save a lot of capex and only quality teaching will be required which can be easily tiedup.
