The issue of social access and equity are far too complex. While the gaps in average enrolments between disadvantaged groups like SC, ST, Muslims, girls and Children with special needs and the general population have decreased, there is still a considerably large gap in learning levels with historically disadvantaged and economically weaker children having significantly lower learning outcomes. Large and growing learning gaps threaten the equity gains achieved on the enrolment front because children with lower levels of learning are more likely to drop out. We need to examine current interventions in bridging the gender and social gaps and identify focused strategies for effective inclusion.

Sir at present we have reservation in jobs based on sc st minorities etc but their is no reservation in schools to admit students belonging to these categories. but there exists a scheme of giving special tuition for children belonging to SC and ST so as to bring them at par with other students. But despite the best intention of the scheme it failed because none of the students turned up fearing discrimination from their classmates as regards to their caste status.Instead this scheme should cont

My thought is little different. We are focusing on children education. However, we should focus on education for elders. If we focus on educating elders and seniors the "chain reaction" of teaching and learning will begin. Because we need to eliminate illiteracy from adults first as they are the guiding pillars for children. we can promote crash course for short duration basic learning for them. and that too at local area level at late evening or early morning by taking help of local teachers.

If we want to improve the education system then student politics should be completely banned at college level.Instead of student election there should be debate competition,Quiz ,sports day,and other activities to develop leadership qualities and to select STUDENT OF THE YEAR

The basic problem with our quota system is, not all who were educated and benefited from the Quota system is encouraging and giving awareness to others. In this way the one who was educated and benefited utilizes the opportunities again and again as they are aware of the benefits. Instead the ones who are really lagging are not aware of the opportunities and quota system. So their families again lag behind. The quota system should add more conditions such as checking first generation student

Integration of specific Non Government Organizations to Special schools at District level: 1.A lot of innovation in disability sector is mainly done in institutes run by NGOs. Most of them are run by parents or relatives of the disabled people. They over a period develop good expertise and resources related to a specific disability. They can be linked up for a larger benefit under a common platform. 2.Central registry for ngos in childhood disability to incorporate these at a national level.

Uniform provisions for all types of Childhood Disabilities across all State and Central Educational Boards.Children with disabilities benefit with certain provisions specific to their disability, however these provisions are not uniform among various states and central boards such as ICSE, CBSE, etc. Learning disabilities and Autism are recognized by certain states and central boards only. Hence every state educational board should be directed for giving provisions for dyslexia & autism.

4.At present most of the states run courses for Special Education in MR, Hearing impairment & Visual impairment only. More courses for Dyslexia, Autism etc could be run at major universities for special needs. All these could be under supervision of Rehabilitation Council of India. In the present circumstances this approach would lead to generation of resources needed for inclusion. Complete inclusion also hampers the growth of normal students and so partial inclusion is the key.
