I recommend waste segregation and recycling-Namakkal in Tamail Nadu is classified as envorinmnt friendly town for these practises. Organic waste can easily be digested by anerobic digestion -bieng done at our college campus at BITS GOA for the past 10 years.I recommend Dr Srikanth Mutnuri of our deparment to contribute to waste management he has ample experience in Goa and other towns in India as part of the Jawaharlal Nehru Urban renewal mission

Sewage system infrastructure needs to go completely underground, as done in Paris (see NatGeo HD's TV program 'Trashopolis') and now being proposed by CM Chandrababu Naidu in Visakhapatnam. Open sewage drains only lead to sickness and epidemics. Sewage workers need to be issued proper safety equipment include face masks, gloves, high boots etc.

Manual scavenging can never be completely eliminated, but scavengers should only be the last line of defence in case of a breakdown. Good sewage systems are a prerequisite to this. Sewage systems need to be built as basic infrastructure BEFORE construction starts at a newly urbanised site. It also needs forethought: how much sewage will this system be handling 30 years later? All these systems should be overbuilt to cater for higher usage, as expanding them later is very difficult.

Along with swatch Bharat, ROAD MARKING AND SIGN BOARDS should also included in it. And a national standard shall be develop which has follow by every state. This year we should target to put marking and sign boards on each and every road with same standard . This will reduce accident on road drastically and make our country beautiful. Please think about it. We should have separate forum forb"ROAD AND SAFETY ALSO. This is very serious thing.

Now a days, when an individual walks out to execute any personal task related to central govt, state govt, psu, private sector, etc, he is asked for an identity proof & address proof. No body verifies if it is a genuine one or handmade/photoshop made. So I think it will be wise to keep all these identity proof & address proof type documents (Passport, DL, PAN, Bank Passbook front page, Aadhaar, Voter ID, Electric Bill, Phone Bill) of each individual online to make my country transparent.

I was traveling through Dakshin Express from Hyderabad to Bhopal, I was surprised to see eco toilets in the train and was very happy that manual scavenging is stopped, which was a curse. I also noticed cleanliness in train as there was staff available to clean the train twice in a day, I observed the same in Pantry Car and the food was also good.Kudos to the railway staff and government.

only tokenism will not help ! more and regular follow up by all participants ,is need of the hour.Camera will not be able to clean the garbage! it 's for us to see that a noble cause does not become a WATERSHED program.
