My suggestion on this like we requirements of Fire fighting equipments for a building similarly we need to have requirements of light fixtures based minimum flux required for reading or working. Need to install motion detecting devices for light operations. Fixed lunch timings to shutdown all working lights during that time compulsory. New building norms should be revised Eco friendly in short utilization of Natural sun light, solar power utilization for lighting

Energy efficiency is a discipline every citizen should learn and should be taught from grass root level. On the other hand, the government can introduce PRE PAID METERS and PREPAID SCRATCH CARDS, so the public have the knowledge on how much they have be using which will give a psychological impact on the usage of electricity. This would prevent long pending payment dues from public. If ELECTRICITY Boards get payments in advance, they can plan many new projects with public fund. pls consider.

Any workplace should have "Enviro-Ethics" in which it provides guidelines and strict rules for its employees to maintain an "Eco-friendly Green Workplace." Rules should be displayed at every desk on every floor of the building, and regular monitoring should be kept. By monitoring the building and everyone doing their bit for saving energy and making it a green workplace, the office buildings will save a lot energy.

If we manage the work smartly according to the deadlines we can save a lot of energy. Another thing is, when you charge your laptop, mobile, or any electronic device be sure to unplug it when it is fully charged, otherwise you will be wasting energy. Also, you have windows in the buildings so from dawn to sunset you can try to turn off the lights and keep the windows open for natural sunlight. You can also get fresh air by opening the windows. This way you can save a lot of electricity.

You must set up timer systems on summer sun rise very early so its may be 7:00pm to 6:00am and on winter its may be 6:00pm to 7:00am and specially on Sunday light will switched ON from Saturday evening to Monday morning its consumes many units or by using solar system(lights will automatically ON after sunset and automatically off by sun light wastage of electricity must be reduce please share if you like

Turn up the thermostat to 26-27 degrees in all offices as opposed to 22-23 as it often is. This will reduce electricity consumption for ACs / heaters.
