The Govt employees leaving AC on while leaving or sitting around a room heater is not uncommon. Room heaters should be banned in offices other than hospitals. No bill towards their purchase should be sanctioned. Staff can wear one more layer of woolens. This can be done at least in non hill areas to begin with. Stiff penalties for leaving behind lights and AC/Fan on to be started. As I suggested in previous post, fixed upper limit of permissible electricity consumption can be a good begining

The existing buildings should also be encouraged to use solar power. The offices can be given mandatory targets of power generation per square foot of covered area. However, the more important thing is to inculcate the habit of wastage of power in Govt offices. The office employees should be encouraged to switch off lights when going out. The Govt can fix the power requirement of every office based on an average in previous years and other similar buildings.

Respected Sir, I can see there are many large buildings growing in India day by day. Most of the commercial building outfit with glasses which reflects an huge amount of heat. My idea is if we can replace this glass interface with Solar Panel. Though the cost of building may rise in construction initially but this can help to generate an huge amount of electric energy which can be used by individual organization and also it can be connected to grid to get revenue benefits.

Namaskar PM Sir, I am requesting you in public sectors or private sectors mainly in shopping malls, Dresses shops they are using more power to their advertise purpose with zoomer lights and audio systems for that purpose they must and should use the solar panels for that lights and systems because of them poor people are suffering with the power problems.the state govts(TG,AP) also encourages that people with consuming more power because they are paying the bills.
