Solar energy is best possible source of energy in India. If govt provides subsidised solar panel with charge controller of higher capacity that can operate the inverter directly and make it compulsory, then I think power problem can be solved. It can be started from govt institutions initially.

let the country do away with handling cash. there be no cash beyond Rs 5000.00 .Any cash handling beyond that should be taxable like securities transaction tax.Simply possible .Let the EPFO invest at least 10% of the present corpus&50% ofyearlyaddition in Equities through mutual funds of different AMCs.Any body cheating investor should be punished. The Forex reserves should be actively and productively be utilised for financing of infra projects@ 10% of present corpus&50% ofyearlyaddition

Government must have monitoring system for the consumer goods. Mainly domestic appliances, must have energy efficiency criteria. Government also can adopt monitoring system for domestic consumers household energy usage. Consumer shall declare the appliances used and power consumed, if the ratio is high, the consumer shall be advised to replace or pay penalty.

Government shall call for consumer participation in energy conservation. Enroll the consumer in to the scheme. Take the average consumption during past year, if they show reduction in during the current year give them considerable incentive. Provide the zone or division, which participate on large scale, give them, infrastructure development as bonus.

I wan to make a suggestion to save energy in the Govt. Sector. Change to timings of Govt. offices according to the atmosphere of the area. In summer the office time must may be between 7 or 8 AM to 2 or 3 PM which saves energy as in morning hours there is no need of fans and ACs etc. and after 3 PM to 7 AM next day there is full saving.

govt should use LED's in their office and with a advertise in people, provide solar pannels to every govt area. and use wind power rather than atomic, coel, oil. Atleast two days of a weak should be for area suryey by employer thats why atleast 1&1/2 days energy conservated and also this could maintain a better relationship between peoples and employers and also this could make a confidence for sharing one. jagrukta will be cheap.A close understandings & mutual shameful relation takes palce.

We need to educate ourselves first about energy conservation. Without self-realisation it is not possible. If not all, atleast our group can initiate the Idea that "we will make every effort to avoid unnecessary use of energy". Remember "Rome was not built in a day". Someone has to start....why not we....?
