As an Electrical Engineer in distribution sector We have observed much more load would be reduced if the road lights in various cities and villages are changed by Energy Efficient Lights. Office replacement is indeed a great initiative.

I think all the cabs and taxies are with cctv servialences. camera must be instaled in the meter.and meter should be on whenever you give service. one metalic chip must be installed in side the meter and one number also alloted. any customer call this number they got sms of driver name car no driver address and other information. I can,t give you the all the information just because of only 500 alphabets alloted, I have very good idea for this if you know please let me know

The Major building load ( Private ,MNC or Corporate) is HVAC load, is about 70% of total load of building ,so my thrust area would be saving potential in HVAC system ,idea is to save little bit of energy in HVAC could make lot of difference in total consumption of building . 1) Keep Building temp at 24-25 Deg C in summer instead of 22 deg C 2) Seal the building properly ,or seal the passage thru air curtains etc 3) South west side windows ecbc films may be used 4) Fresh air pre cooling etc

We are facing to much problem for loose currency or chhootte paise can't we have at least one ATM machine for each bank in each city where we can get this Currency note of Rs 2 ,5,10,20 or 50

Use of energy efficient lights and other electrical equipments should be made compulsory in all Government / semi-Government buildings, malls, and commercial establishments. There is lot of wastage/ misuse of power in the Government offices, post-paid meters may be replaced with pre-paid meters in these offices phase-wise. Awareness campaigns also need to be organised. Every state in India should undertake enhanced energy efficiency programme and should be publicized, effectively implemented.

Often, we see street lights turned on during broad daylight and sometimes throughout the day. This is absolute wastage of energy. Provision should be made where we can call a helpline number, preferably 100 where we can just inform them of the particular street light and concerned authorities could be asked to take immediate action.

Can we utilise sun's heat on our umbrellas ?

A lot of power can be saved by strictly following energy saving equipment at government offices and public places. Private parties should be made a part of checking system. Every office should be given a fixed slab according to their requirement. If consumption increase from their thresholds the employee must be charged for the rest. Streetlight should also be checked. Gov should make a separate taskforce for checking theft.

Can we have DIGITAL TRAFFIC BOARDS on main roads which can flash traffic updates and advise on best route to a specific place. This will help in tackling traffic jam and would help us avoid fuel wastage. Have seen just bill boards in Singapore
