Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

अध्ययन-अध्यापन और ज्ञान पर ही समाज का पूरा भविष्य आधारित है। अध्ययन-अध्यापन और ‘ज्ञान’ समाज सुधार और जीवोद्धार तथा सुखी-सम्पन्न समाज हेतु सर्वप्रथम सबसे महत्त्वपूर्ण एवं सभी के लिए ही एक अनिवार्यतः आवश्यक विधान है । विद्यार्थी ही भावी समाज का कर्णधार होता है। "गुरुजन बन्धुओं को चाहिए कि सबसे पहले विद्यार्थियों को शिष्टाचार का व्यावहारिक पहलू मजबूत करें ! ‘सत्यं बद्; धर्मं चर ! (सत्य बोलें और धर्म पर रहें-चलें !)’ अध्ययन का मूलमन्त्र होना चाहिये । इसकी व्यावहारिकता पर सबसे कड़ी दृष्टि होनी चाह

गुरुजन बन्धुओं को चाहिए कि सबसे पहले विद्यार्थियों को शिष्टाचार का व्यावहारिक पहलू मजबूत करें ! ‘सत्यं बद्; धर्मं चर ! (सत्य बोलें और धर्म पर रहें-चलें !)’ अध्ययन का मूलमन्त्र होना चाहिये । इसकी व्यावहारिकता पर सबसे कड़ी दृष्टि होनी चाहिये ।" विद्यार्थियों में सर्वप्रथम शिष्टता एवं सदाचारिता ही कूट-कूट कर भरनी चाहिये । विद्यार्थियों के नैतिक और चारित्रिक विकास से सम्बन्धित विषय-वस्तुयें भी होनी चाहिये । विद्यार्थियों का समुचित विकास किस प्रकार हो, यह पूरी जिम्मेदारी गुरुजन बन्धुओं पर ही होना

...(Mid Day Meal Scheme) to Children. Actives which enhance focus and moral values like Yoga, Mythological and Ancient stories will not only help children know the Great Indian Past but will build their confidence and Skills as well. More Inclusion of Hindi and Maths in curriculum that will help them to catch fast, learn fast. Inclusive Language like Hindi should be used all across the country to teach various subjects.

...d and winners should be facilitated. That facilitation must be recognized as their career achievement which will help them to get opportunities which can shape their future and career. Yoga, Exercise and Sports activities should be introduced at early age so that it gets embedded in their DNA. "A Healthy body Contains a Healthy Mind". e-Learning and multimedia inclusion should be introduced for getting better outcomes from students. Good food for Healthy Mind. Ensure quality food in MDM

सुधारात्मक अनुशासन विद्यार्थियों पर बराबर रहना चाहिये । इसके साथ ही किसी भी पारिवारिक व्यक्ति को गुरुजन बन्धुओं के अनुशासन में दखल नहीं देना चाहिये । अपने पुत्र-पुत्रियों को गुरुजन बन्धुओं के निर्देशन में ही सदा रखना चाहिये ।

Children must understand why a topic is being taught, what is its significance, how it is important to them, what is the learning outcome etc. then they will fully understand the topics and implement in their lives. Mode of learning should slightly shift from classroom studies to outside world practical problems which can enhance their cognitive memory and analytic skills. On National level for various levels age groups Examinations which test their skills and understanding should be introduce

If one want outcome. Then Student out of his interest and eagerness can learn and understand, Not by mugging up for exams. Developing cognitive intelligence, Analytic and logical reasoning skills in Children through multimedia learning, maths, Art and Plays, Practical problems. Markings should be less on bookish learning and more on practical understanding. View points and Original writings on various subjects Must be encouraged by the children rather than mugging up.
