Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

gone those days when Indian were thinking about the food. But now everyone understood the value of education.Everyone strive to get a good life. Therefore it is needed to make reforms in the education policy. The very base of the education needs to be strengthened. The primary teachers need to take pride and responsibility of dealing with budding flowers of this country. They need to think that they are teaching their own children. Hence proper monitoring should be ensured in Primary eduaction

Learning only can be ensured with Play all day (imparting learning with play way methods specially in elementry education with the use of Teaching Learning Materials(TLM), developing laboratory with practical approach of day to day experiences of life then all these aspects should be practiced in formal learnings.our education system is little bit beneficial for only for above average students but in ever care for back benchers and average or below average students.

In every school of India,there must be internet connection and smart boards are also required for smart schools.Every government school must be a smart school and every teacher must be a smart teacher...Government should take actions against engaging teachers for non teaching work like booth leval officer! Election department must not engage them for booth level officer's work!Interference of varios departments in teacher's work may effect badly to build India's future!!!

Yoga and ancient Indian healing method must be taught to the students,so we can build healthy India.we are spending so much money on curing the patients but we are not giving attention to self healing,we spend money on cancer hospitals but not putting ban on tobacco,so be smart and ban tobacco from school level!we should also teach them acupressure and naturopathy,so we can save national asset and time also.

I think rural and urban educational environment is different. In some rural and slum urban areas where literacy rate is very low,a student can't grow properly. Because they need a guidance for their homework and in their home their is no one. Their parents sometimes think that their child should help them for earning money and can help their very poor family.The big reason why they sent their child to a school for food not for education. The problem is here,in a grassroot level.

SHOULD NOT ENGAGE IN NON-TEACHING ACTIVITIES TO TEACHERS. MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION SHOULD BE MOTHER TONGUE.MUST BE QUALITATIVE TEACHER'S EDUCATION. ACTIVITY BASED TEACHING LEARNING. APROPRIATE AGE AND GOOD HEALTH.CONCIOUSNESS OF PARENTS.LEARNIG LAVEL SHOULD BE DECIDED BY SUBJECT NOT BY CLASS AND ONE YEAR LIMITATION OF TIME .

Elementary Education should meant for the total development of the child- mentally and physically. For to achieve the total development, introduce the system of panchangasikshan means- also added Sanskrit, yoga, physical education, music, and moral ethics to a child. It helps the child to develop their skills easily. Allow the child to express his ideas in his mother tongue, will help without fear they express their ideas. It also help to enrich their reading and writing skills.

Education department ko nyay palika ki tarah sabhi bandhano se mukt kar dena chahie,vishva k sabhi desh ki tarah teachers se teaching k alava koi orders nahi hone chahie,election department teachers ko permanently booth level officers bana dete hai,vo nahi banana chahie..teachers ka mind fresh rahe aise atmosphere ka nirman karna chahie,jis desh ka teacher hi daba hua raheta ho vo bachho ko mukt rahena kaise shikha payega!!!

There should not be any discrimination in the standars of teaching and learning process between the poor children living in remote areas and towns.
