Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

1.In primary level mother tongue shud b medium of instruction but it will b effective only if implemented strictly for all board. 2.uniformity of syllabus will definetly remove theeconomic differenc of so called high class private school and govt school. 3. Teacher training programming like BED etc shud b more related to real school situation merely than just cramming old methods of teaching ..teacher shud made well acquainted with new researches in the field of education.

prathmik shiksha ke liye baste ka bojha kam karana chahiye iske liye pustak ke jagah shayak samagri ka prayog hona chahiye shayak samagri ginti padne ke liye kanche bachcho ko sikhane me madad meel sakti hai drisya avam sravya samagri jyada sikhne madad karti hai bachcho ke shiksha star ke sudhaar ke liye 5&8 bourd hona chahiye

प्रारंभिक शिक्षा में आधारभूत संकल्पनाओं के स्पष्टिकरण पर बल देना हाेगा तथा शिक्षण- अधिगम क्रिया आधारित करना होगा ा सतत व व्यापक मूल्यांकन प्रभावी तरह से करने हेतु छात्र-शिक्षक अनुपात ३०:१ करना होगा

सुनना, बोलना, पढना, लिखना यह सही सिखने का क्रम है जबकि वर्तमान में लिखना से प्रारम्भ होता है इसकी बजाय सही क्रम विद्याभारती शिशुवटीका पद्धति के अनुरूप करना चाहिए / बालकेंद्रित, क्रिया आधारित शिक्षा से ये सम्भव होगा

Child centered activity oriented methodology to be adopted. Mother tongue or the regional language should be the medium of communication at the primary level. While teaching subtractions there is in vogue a very dangerous practice of lending ten from the neighbor, which should be stopped forthwith. the students should be acquainted with the practice of bundling and unbundling. The children should learn first to read the nature and surroundings, books can be brought later.

Competitions in scl causing more n more books, syllabus n homeworks weather child is incapable.. if true education without just passing the time in the scl, through a unique syllabus pattern in all over india is given than the base of every stu can be made strong.. also as i felt that english has became an imp tool of personality, stu is spending 18hrs under the aura of mother tongue, provision to provide such eng aura is also needed.

Pre primary education must be banned at any cost. Before the age of 5, there must not be any formal education. The concept of Play Group and KG must end in coming days. The best education at this age is gained in the family and in an informal way.

1. Teach minimum three languages(Mother Tongue,Hindi,English)considering grammar also. 2. Minimum books and maximum activities . 3. Story telling method should be must at primary. 4.Yoga classes. 5.Teacher students ratio should be 20to 25. 6.Students should not be permoted to the next class without required knowledge. 7. Smart classroom introduce at primary level.
