Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

Child is the best gift from god! New education policy must be according to develop children's inner soul. New policy must not kill children's inner soul.Private schools are putting too much pressure on children. Government must interfere in it,because private schools do not follow any government rules..

बालक का नीव मजबूत करने हेतु छाेटे कक्षा में मात्रा ज्ञान अक्षर व अंक ज्ञान पर िवषेश जाेर देना चाहिए कासर् का बंधन नही हाेना चाहिए अाैर पुसतकाे में पाठ कम हाेना चाहिए । बच्चाे की पढाइ में सुधार करने के लिए जनरल पमाेशन व्यवसथा काे बंद करना चाहिए। गेड नियम काे बंद कर अंक एंव पतिशत अाधारित परीक्षा परिणाम काे चालू करना चाहिए जिससे पालकाे में मतभेद न हाे।

Teaching of English language must be started from first standard...Government should give teachers freedom to teach their students in their own way! Teachers must not be engaged in making and correcting voter's list!! Value education is also necessary for healthy society! Please look after these suggestions!

learning at the elementary level is the foundation of education,to make it more effective and pleasant it should be activities oriented with no burden of books.CCE pattern should be followed.

प्रारंभिक स्तर की शिक्षा में पठन-लेखन व अभिव्यक्ति के कौशल को छात्रों के कौशालानुरूप विकसित करने के प्रयास करने चाहिए . हर छात्र का अपना बौद्धिक स्तर होता है, जिस स्कूल में सिर्फ निखारने की आवश्यकता है . इसके लिए छात्रों को विभिन्न कैटेगरी में बांटकर, उनकी अपनी क्षमता अनुसार कौशल विकसित किया जा सकता है शारीरिक, खेलकूद, संगीत, ललितकला, चित्रकला आदि विषयों का पाठ्यक्रम में समावेश हो एवं छात्रो कि अभिरुचि को ध्यान में रखना चाहिए.

Syllabus from primary classes should be the same because it differs from school to school it should be worth full not to be overburden for the students.

I hv submitted my book "The Singsong Book of Original Poems & Stories for Children",consisting of 10 poems & 3 short stories IN ENGLISH,wh can be translated to any language to Ms.Noopur Jhunjhunwala,Addl PS to MHRD,to make use of the book on very simple terms.But my experience is so far fruitless. "The Safety Song" is a poem that teaches younger kids to avoid going with,nor allow TOUCH of strangers,intended to curb child rapes & molestation.I urge you to use this book thruout India to benefit.

Elementary education should be activity base classes should not be overcrowded teacher and students ratio should be properly setup in every school.This will help to improve standard of the classes.
