Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

They should know their surrounding in detail. People, culture, land and history, achievement and other things, by which they should be proud of their roots.

स्कूल से एक 6th क्लास का बच्चा अपने घर आ कर अपनी माँ से पूछता है - "माँ ये sc और st क्या हैं ?" माँ: बेटा ये तुम्हे क्यों जानना है ? बच्चा: माँ आज सर हमसे पूछ रहे थे की कौन कौन sc st का हैं !!!!! माँ: बेटा उन्होंने ऐसा क्यों पूछा उन्होंने नहीं बताया क्या ? बच्चा: बताया पर सिर्फ इतना की जो जो sc st के हैं उन्हें पैसे मिलेगे और हो सकता है की obc वालो को भी दे दे पर माँ ये क्या होता हैं कास्ट? माँ: बेटा हमारे सविधान में 4 कास्ट बनायीं है sc st obc और जनरल तो

No load of books shd b there. no syllabus shd b there. No bookish knowledge shd b there only practical knowledge of things n environment shd b given. This will create curiosity in kids.

किसी भी छात्र/छात्राओं को जबरन कोई भी ज्ञान नहीं दिया जा सकता क्योंकि ज्ञान दिया नहीं जाता ग्रहण किया जाता है | इसलिए बाल्यवस्था में ही सीखने/ग्रहण करने कि क्षमता का विकास किया जाना चाहिए, इस हेतु ध्यान (योग शिक्षा) पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल होना चाहिए | साथ ही साथ छात्र/छात्राओं का मानसिक, नैतिक एवं शारीरिक विकास हो ऐसा पाठ्यक्रम होना चाहिए|

सर्वप्रथम विद्यार्थियों में शिष्टता एवं सदाचारिता ही कूट-कूट कर भरनी चाहिये । विद्यार्थियों के नैतिक और चारित्रिक विकास से सम्बन्धित विषय-वस्तुयें भी होनी चाहिये । विद्यार्थियों का समुचित विकास किस प्रकार हो, यह पूरी जिम्मेदारी गुरुजन बन्धुओं पर ही होना चाहिये । सुधारात्मक अनुशासन विद्यार्थियों पर बराबर रहना चाहिये

विद्यार्थियों में सर्वप्रथम शिष्टता एवं सदाचारिता ही कूट-कूट कर भरनी चाहिये । विद्यार्थियों के नैतिक और चारित्रिक विकास से सम्बन्धित विषय-वस्तुयें भी होनी चाहिये । विद्यार्थियों का समुचित विकास किस प्रकार हो, यह पूरी जिम्मेदारी गुरुजन बन्धुओं पर ही होना चाहिये । सुधारात्मक अनुशासन विद्यार्थियों पर बराबर रहना चाहिये । इसके साथ ही किसी भी पारिवारिक व्यक्ति को गुरुजन बन्धुओं के अनुशासन में दखल नहीं देना चाहिये । अपने पुत्र-पुत्रियों को गुरुजन बन्धुओं के निर्देशन में ही सदा रखना चाहिये ।
