City shall boast of its natural, built and cultural heritage by conserving, developing and promoting its assets. Heritage structures will be conserved and blended with urban fabric, natural assets will be developed with utmost eco-sensitivity, and cultural heritage shall be promoted through cultural events .

City shall create an enabling environment for establishing industries and business by; provision of infrastructure, adequate power supply, easing compliance process, supply of new developed land, policy support for industrial growth, adopting regenerative measures, and generating a skilled workforce etc.

City shall strive to become a major economic hub in the region; prime distribution centre for all agriculture/ horticulture produce, agro- processing and small scale industry, wholesale commercial, leverage from tourism industry in the region.
