The digital space has witnessed major transformations in the last couple of years and as per industry experts would continue to evolve itself. The latest entrant to the digital space is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT can also be defined as interplay for software, telecom and electronic hardware industry and promises to offer tremendous opportunities for many industries.

With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), the number of connected sensors soon will reach trillions, working with billions of intelligent systems involving in-numerous applications will drive new consumer and business behaviour. The demand for increasingly intelligent industry solutions based on IoT will drive trillions of dollars in opportunity for IT industry and even more for the companies that take advantage of the IoT.

One of the top most initiatives in the form of Digital India Program of the Government which aims at ‘transforming India into digital empowered society and knowledge economy’, is expected to provide the required impetus for development of the IoT industry ecosystem in the country.

Department of Electronics and Information Technology,(DeiTY) has come out with a draft IOT Policy document which focuses on following objectives:

i. To create an IoT industry in India of USD 15 billion by 2020. It has been assumed that India would have a share of 5-6% of global IoT industry.

ii. To undertake capacity development (Human & Technology) for IoT specific skill-sets for domestic and international markets.

iii. To undertake Research & development for all the assisting technologies.

iv. To develop IoT products specific to Indian needs in all possible domains.

The Policy framework of the IoT Policy has been proposed to be implemented via a multi-pillar approach. The approach comprises of five vertical pillars (Demonstration Centres, Capacity Building & Incubation, R&D and Innovation, Incentives and Engagements, Human Resource Development) and 2 horizontal supports (Standards & Governance structure).

In India, many people fall victim to financial fraud by unscrupulous agents/companies who cheat people promising astonishing results. I would like to suggest that a pan-India body be created only for investigating, preventing, punishing and controlling these financial crimes. Let it be online and have pan India jurisdiction. Anyone can lodge a complaint and upload the supporting documents. This agency can co-ordinate with other law enforcement agencies to track intelligence and catch cheats.

the internet of our area is very poor speed. plz arrange your plan to increase fastest internet and get connected with rural and urban area. villagers and town get connect with government. Receive the online services. in this time everything is online all employment form online all services online. and dear sir you are asking for DIGITAL INDIA. so plz make policy for net speed in india.

To make Digital India, first we need to make Digital State. Here I want to appreciate Andhra Pradesh State to have websites for many small and big thing ( Ex. E-Seva, Mee-Seva ). But when I shifted to Karnataka Bangalore (One hub of IT) here I found that e-governance is not that much developed and popular. I know many state government is working on this. But to make it fast we can create E-Gov Platform As Service (EGPS). A conman platform which can be customized based on state to state.

IoT is a promising exploitable area that can do wonders. I have several projects in mind. One of the project being, install flow sensors at the taps that indicate how many litres of water is flowing out. Just indicate a number on display. We can start this at IT companies first, later extend at multiplexes and elsewhere. Whenever a person turns on tap, gets an idea of water usage.Collect this data to central server via internet, and reward those who have consumed less in the form of tax break

draft should include suggestion and online portal for every one even with data collection from the source from where it has been abstracted and also an email must be there so the person can send the reference of other places for it betterments. RTI should be easily available if it is for the benefit of society with taking care of law and order,all rail ways station must include all time internet ticket counter @ 24*365 days similar to ATM .

Passport Office Website is a major problem https://portal1.passportindia.gov.in/ . The above Mentioned website has a problem.. When you apply for apassport online you are unable to make an online payment and book an appointment.. Is this a Glitch or made on purpose to force us to go to Agents and Touts.. Please check this, Kind Regards

Air Ambulance : In some city we have metro lines. By using that infrastructure we can develop a mini cabin with capacity for patient and 2 person. It should be light weight and from metro line we can use diversion line for hospital. Hospital can invest money on this and people can give use charge. We can save life of many person....
