The digital space has witnessed major transformations in the last couple of years and as per industry experts would continue to evolve itself. The latest entrant to the digital space is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT can also be defined as interplay for software, telecom and electronic hardware industry and promises to offer tremendous opportunities for many industries.

With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), the number of connected sensors soon will reach trillions, working with billions of intelligent systems involving in-numerous applications will drive new consumer and business behaviour. The demand for increasingly intelligent industry solutions based on IoT will drive trillions of dollars in opportunity for IT industry and even more for the companies that take advantage of the IoT.

One of the top most initiatives in the form of Digital India Program of the Government which aims at ‘transforming India into digital empowered society and knowledge economy’, is expected to provide the required impetus for development of the IoT industry ecosystem in the country.

Department of Electronics and Information Technology,(DeiTY) has come out with a draft IOT Policy document which focuses on following objectives:

i. To create an IoT industry in India of USD 15 billion by 2020. It has been assumed that India would have a share of 5-6% of global IoT industry.

ii. To undertake capacity development (Human & Technology) for IoT specific skill-sets for domestic and international markets.

iii. To undertake Research & development for all the assisting technologies.

iv. To develop IoT products specific to Indian needs in all possible domains.

The Policy framework of the IoT Policy has been proposed to be implemented via a multi-pillar approach. The approach comprises of five vertical pillars (Demonstration Centres, Capacity Building & Incubation, R&D and Innovation, Incentives and Engagements, Human Resource Development) and 2 horizontal supports (Standards & Governance structure).

Hello Mr. PM, Can we improve our traffic signaling system by making the timers able to adapt as per the traffic density ie. if the traffic is less on one side the timer should be in accordance and vice versa if traffic is more. As of now the timer set on traffic signals are static and has nothing to do with the volume and density of the traffic. This will surely ease out traffic problem accross India and also we can sell this concept to other country for generating revenue.

if we want to educate india then we should improve facilities at government schools and make it better than private school so that poor children could study

PM sirji, Farmers empowement with agriculture technology accessbility in mobiles. As I am agriculture graduate I had seen many progressive farmers are using IT in agriculture activity, they are getting better outputs. Now days mobile has became essential commodity everybody, so its the right platform to reach farmers very easily with the agriculture technology. ERP(ENTERPRICE RESOURCE PLANNING) DSS (DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM) and GIS (GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM) etc are the need of the hour

Respected Prime Minister, i have passed my both written and interview exam of IBPS PO and CLERK conducted during the period of 203-2014,but they have not given me the appointment letter,as per their result they said i am not in the RESERVE list,Which is prepared at the time of interview,no information about this was mentioned in their NOTIFICATION,dear pm it is kindly requested to do favour for 10000 qualified candidates.

Please let me know how we can help you. Appreciate your gesture of going to Kashmir. The problem of Kashmir is that are too many Kashmiries there. Put them in minorities and let us populate it with Indians. Information Technology should be the focus for Gurajat as it is low cost quick foreign exchange earner. If it is focused in Gujarat, the Gujarati Youth can come back home....

Priya Pradhan mantri ji, Hum log air force ke andar kaam karte hai aur chunav ke samay vote dene apne home town yaa village nahi jaa pate.Hamaari hi tarah aur bhi fauji bhai aur unki family hai jo apna bahumulya vote nahi daal pate.Please iske liye koyi law yaa system laiye kyoki hame bhi vote karne kaa hakk hai. Hamaara job transferable hai jisse hamaara voter ID card har jagah kaam nahi kartaa. Kripyaa dhyaan dein. Thank you.
