The digital space has witnessed major transformations in the last couple of years and as per industry experts would continue to evolve itself. The latest entrant to the digital space is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT can also be defined as interplay for software, telecom and electronic hardware industry and promises to offer tremendous opportunities for many industries.

With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), the number of connected sensors soon will reach trillions, working with billions of intelligent systems involving in-numerous applications will drive new consumer and business behaviour. The demand for increasingly intelligent industry solutions based on IoT will drive trillions of dollars in opportunity for IT industry and even more for the companies that take advantage of the IoT.

One of the top most initiatives in the form of Digital India Program of the Government which aims at ‘transforming India into digital empowered society and knowledge economy’, is expected to provide the required impetus for development of the IoT industry ecosystem in the country.

Department of Electronics and Information Technology,(DeiTY) has come out with a draft IOT Policy document which focuses on following objectives:

i. To create an IoT industry in India of USD 15 billion by 2020. It has been assumed that India would have a share of 5-6% of global IoT industry.

ii. To undertake capacity development (Human & Technology) for IoT specific skill-sets for domestic and international markets.

iii. To undertake Research & development for all the assisting technologies.

iv. To develop IoT products specific to Indian needs in all possible domains.

The Policy framework of the IoT Policy has been proposed to be implemented via a multi-pillar approach. The approach comprises of five vertical pillars (Demonstration Centres, Capacity Building & Incubation, R&D and Innovation, Incentives and Engagements, Human Resource Development) and 2 horizontal supports (Standards & Governance structure).

For development of any country there is prime requirement of very high speed internet must, At very low speed internet how you can developed your country. so sir please provide internet at high speed with low prize, without this nation not developed. Thank you,,,

hi team, i want to share that pl. make a plan or start a toll free no. for to inform electricity stolen and make a plan to award those person which inform us 10% of total punishment challan because in india aprox 27% electricity stolen of our toatal consuption and also make some more plan like senior citizen pension schemes in which 55 yrs person also gave pension against 60 yrs as per govt. rule and BPL card also ....

India has emerged as a Software giant, providing solutions to world across, It would be easier to look for our ESI network of Hospital a well suiting software for managing data, records and schedules. If we could look for some Public Private Partnership for having them hand in hand, other related issues pertaining to investment, well maintenance, accuracy in developing software could be attended to the best level. I would be grateful if the ESI which health cares poor and needy gets still faster

Honorable Sir, This is to suggest that ESIC is being multi network of hospital is still functioning without e-enabled network. The documentation and the data shared between dispensaries, ward office, and the main branch is still done through paper work. which leads to inaccuracy and uncertainty in maintaining and measuring stats, schedules, accounts, accessibility, consumption, time, etc. which in turn affects the quality of patients care partially. Please enhance the network by e-enabling.

is Indian SME Retailer dying a slow death will this lead to severe cutting of millions of jobs for people working with retail stores and also heavy increase in NPA due to the unfair trade practice of heavy discount by eCommerce portals this is because all the big brands manufacturers offer heavy discount to this online retailers on which they are riding to murder the SME Traders indirectly and also rendering millions of employees and their families homeless will Govt help with interference

Though these may fall under the head of R&D and standards, special emphasis can be given to make the following a separate section - bulk and cheap manufacturing of hardware. For example 1. cheap mobile/tablet (aakash may need revival here) -- or it can be done with china/taiwan bulk deal -- mandated for all involved parties/government employees involved 2. A otp device which will lie with every citizen (to avoid security/theft in most standardised way the banks/finance portals do it)

jis tarah dhan jan yojna ke tahat lakho ka account khola gaya usi tarah koi ek aise scheme laye jisse se desh ha har dukandar chota ho ya bada trade license banaye jisse vayabsaye samti majbur ho jaye desh ke marketo ki jarurat ko pura karne me jo ki parking toilet aur market me road ki halat h usme sudhar aaye.
