The draft National Book Promotion Policy (NBPP) has the role to facilitate exchange of views on all major aspects of book promotion, inter-alia covering writing/authorship, book production, publication and sale of books, their prices, copyright issues, development of book reading habit, reach of books to different segments of population in different Indian languages and quality and content of Indian books in general.The draft NBPP, along with comments received from various Ministries/Departments is being put up on mygov.in for inviting comments before it is given a final shape.

सभी सरकारी आयोजनों में क़िताबें देने की परंपरा की शुरआत की जानी चाहिये. सभी सरकारी दफ़्तरों में पुस्तकालय की व्यवस्था अनिवार्य की जानी चाहिये तथा पुस्तकालय को हमेशा ऐसी जगह पर स्थापित किया जाना चाहिये जहां यह सबसे ज़्यादा विज़िबल हो. इन सभी के साथ-साथ कर्मचारियों के काम के घंटे कड़ाई से तय किये जाने चाहिये ताकि वो घर पर जाकर स्वाध्याय कर सकें. इससे हम दफ़्तरों में व्यय होने वाली अतिरिक्त भर्जा की बचत भी कर सकेंगे.

Online forum should be there where all the details of major book launching events are shared. Also for all public libraries there should be online accounts for their members wherein they can check availability of books, their locations, returning dates for borrowed books etc. Mobile app should be launched for the same. Also there should be competitions held for young authors so that the best among them gets an opportunity to publish their books. E-books should be made available on an online lib.

#Book Promotion: Experience in writing articles or doing research work. Also the data base of every public library in the city should be available by means of an app for smart phones. In the public library books should made searchable digitally through the means of a touch screen monitor which will help locate the book.
