Chandigarh International Airport with direct connectivity to Europe( Frankfurt/London), North America( Toronto/New York), Middle East (DUBAI), South East Asia ( Singapore/Bangkok). Passengers for these destination will not be issue as Lot of NRI from chandigarh region are settled in above mentioned destinations. Also Tourist for Himachal Pradesh can use this International Airport.
It will also reduce burden on IG International Airport Delhi and overall congestion of Delhi.

Chandigarh without its suburbs cannot be smart city. To make Chandigarh smart city
1) We need Chandigarh Capital Region ( CCR) on lines of NCR
2) Greater Chandigarh Transport corporation ( GCTC)
3) Ring Road connecting different suburbs of CCR ( 8/10 Lane ) to bypass all traffic from Chandigarh (U.T.)
4) All future roads to be 8/10 Lane keeping in view requirement for another 100 years
5) Planned development in CCR with strict rules ( Nayagaon / Kansal is big blunder )

#Chandigarh, #UT, #SmartCity, #MyGov It is a common sight to see cars/motorcycles/cycles drivng on the wrong side of the road when they want to turn into the next road. And the common answer is that i have given indication while turning. Shows a total lack of knowledge off driving regulations. As i said earlier the police too needs to be educated on traffic rules
