To make a smart city we need smart residents. Most people in Chandigarh do not follow basic traffic rules/are unaware of driving regulations. Why blame the publuic when the police themselves flout road regulations. See the traffic at any traffic light point. No one is in his own lane and all vehicles are haphazardly lined up causing more snarls than clearing ther traffic. Police need to chalan violators for not following lane driving

Chandigarh is education-hub of north India. I am from Himachal and doing graduation here. I want to utilize my free time in some benificial task. Chandigarh contain most of the young crowd so PART TIME JOBS , internship and any other activities are required for development.

The walkways in the city are not maintained properly and cyclists also face much problems. Traffic violations are abundant and people don't shy to jump red lights. These things must be rectified.
All walkways must be cleaned from obstructions and proper lighting should be provided.
Further, this city beautiful is becoming dirty as waste can be seen at various places. Cleanliness committees must be constituted at sector level to keep the city clean.

Chandigarh is a clean city, yaha sportsman bhi bht h, tourist place bhi bht h, bht si jatiya h paramparaye h, kisan h or industries h...development bhi inhi sbko dhyan me rakhte huye in sbke bich me ek link banate huye karna chahiye...jaha nature, enviroment or scientific baato ko dhyan me rakhna chahiye...in bato ko dhyan me rakhte huye jis jagah jo chij famous h waha wese hi development karna chahiye..sabhi bate online bhi honi chahiye...govt. work active hona chahiye.
