The mandate of the Ministry of Culture is to preserve, promote, explore and share India’s culture and heritage along with ethos and values for the benefit of mankind. For achieving this Mission, the Ministry undertakes the following activities:

• Maintenance and conservation of heritage, historic sites and ancient monuments
• Administration of libraries
• Promotion of literary, visual and performing arts
• Observation of centenaries and anniversaries of important national personalities and events
• Promotion of institutions and organizations of Buddhist and Tibetan studies
• Promotion of institutional and individual non-official initiatives in the fields of art and culture
• Entering into cultural agreements with foreign countries

The functional spectrum of the Ministry ranges from creating cultural awareness from the grass root level to the international cultural exchange level. Details about several Schemes which are administered by Ministry of Culture for providing financial assistance for promoting cultural activities are available on the Ministry’s website (http://indiaculture.nic.in/).

Also, various organizations under the Ministry of Culture organize cultural programs and events from time to time.

The Ministry has decided to invite suggestions from the public regarding innovative ideas for effective use of Media in promoting Indian Culture and Heritage.

It is requested that the individual suggestions may be limited to about 200 words.

All revenue documents must be given only with bio-matric authentification to the public. it will lead us to be crime less nation in terms of finance. Photos must be printed on E.B, Property Tax Book, water tax and gas book. PAN card must be given only with the adhar card link. there is talk multiple PAN cards taken to the same person. with the help of duplicate election id, dl, marksheet. We must provide PAN to the college students while thery were studying.

Pl. PM convince people that achhe din cannot come in such a short period, the schemes introduced will yield benefit after 3 yrs only. Announce some schemes for the benefit to people during short pd. howsoever uneconomic they may be.

Culture cannot be preached or showing arrogance ( like Sakshi Maharaj. Look at West, they have changed the culture of nearly more than half of the world without showing any authority. They changed the life style of the people, their thinking, their approach towards life by making their culture more attractive and comfortable. Any way I am interested in giving my views on economy,politics, etc. in details. Pl. let me know the way. Thanks

Foreign tourists and NRIs are more familiar with theme parks. How about a Mahabharata theme park in Kurukshetra, Haryana where tourists can take part in drama enacting Mahabharata stories, young kids can take part in mock fights with laser tagging toys, chota bhim cartoons take picture with kids. The real respect to Mahabharata will only be paid when the common people around the world realize the numerous messages Mahabharata gives. #IndianCulture, #IndianHeritage, #MinistryofCulture, #MyGov

Firstly, India's Culture and Heritage sites should be well protected and administered by the government on National interest not on political grounds. One way this would generate interest not only among citizens but also outsiders. Government must impose and regulate hefty penalties if there is any loss / damage to done India's culture and heritage sites. Schools and colleges must be encouraged for taking their students to Heritage sites and places which would generate interest and learning

1st of all u should work with state gov to protect nd develop heritage nd tourism. nd ask famous peoples of india to promote indian tourism. nd i think aapko ek title bhi dena chahiye jaise "swachh bharat" mission tha..this is the best way to promote culture nd heritage. nd all tv channels ke liye jaruri kr do indian culture nd tourism se related tv ad dikhana 5-6times daily.. thank u..

Suggestion of Mandating Yoga at Govt Schools: Discipline is the most important thing in our life.I feel it should start from the day one of every INDIAN Kid into the school. I Studied in Govt School conduct drill & sports are just formality. I feel now the difference of not being discipline in school. My opinion if we compel PT teacher in every govt school to learn&teach yoga as a part of curriculum will defiantly increase students concentration,culture and discipline for better INDIA.

In the view of lot of national and international tourists to many of the INDIAN tourism places.I would like to suggest to create an APP which will navigate and talk, guide about the place you are presently visiting.So in this way tourists are comfortable and fraudulent free when they are in particular place. Ex:-A app which says the places to see in particular State along with their internal Navigation and explanation of the history as an audio or text guidance. Thanks Chandra Sekhara
