Prime Minister's Independence Day Speech is perhaps the most important speech of the year. It carries it with the import of history and the vision and aspirations of future. Delivered every year on 15th August, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, the Independence Day Speech is the occasion when the Prime Minister lays out the government's achievements till date and the and the programmes and policies for the future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has however, for the first time, set the trend of directly seeking ideas and suggestions from citizens for formulating his Independence Day Speech. Like last year, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their views, their ideas, their suggestions, indeed their own vision.

So now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallise your vision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will articulate them.

Honourable PM sir,15th aug ko red fort se jo speech PM ki or se diya jata hai,vo kafi important hota hai,q ki vo kisi neta ka apne karyakarta ke le speech nahi hota. balki ek PM ka apne deshvasiyon ke sath direct bat hoti hai.vo speech sabhi deshvasiyon ke liye bahot imp hota hai.par dear PM sir,ye speech bahot sare logo tak nahi pahuch pata.aapse nivedan hai k sir aap sabhi grampanchayat,palika,etc se niyojan karvaye.taki sabhi log speech sun sake.thank u sir

Dear Modi Sir, Kinkly make provision to take income tax from all citizens of our country irrespective of income.There should be no exempt. Any citizen of India should come under purview of giving tax. It can be 1 percent up to annual income of 6000 (i.e minimum income of Rs.500/- per month)2 percent up to 10000, 3 percent up to 100000 and so on like this.Every body should feel proud of giving tax for nation building. This will also prevent people from sabotage of govt. properties.

Sir, kindly announce toll tax relief on all roads in India for small non-commercial vehicles on the lines of the Gujarat CM's recent declaration. If the issue is not taken up at your level there will be chaotic race amongst state CM's to corner credit before elections at Centre's cost by announcing haphazard and unviable bounties.

Respected PM, your one comment on Independence Day can save my life. I am M.C.Rabindran, 51 yr old asthma patient staying in Cochin city of Kerala. You have given 5 crore LPG connections to poor families and saved them from harmful effects of smoke from burning firewood for cooking. One hour of firewood smoke is as dangerous as burning 400 cigarettes. My neighbor already has LPG connection in his house but still burns firewood which suffocates me. Please ban firewood burning by those with LPG.

Dear Pm Sir, Request reform to curb plastic usage and other environmental hazard components to ensure clean india campaign to progress further for sucess. Required strict implementation of motor vehicle related laws to prevent accidents. Request to implement the minimum lead time required to get service in any goverment institutions,also implement citizen charter in all goverment organisation along with the basic rights of citizens.

All the public undertakings like Bank should run all days of the week. Today people need leave from their work if they want to visit these. Secondly the Health or Hospitalization costs are going up and it creates a very huge fear in the minds of the people that if I fall ill and needs visit to a hospital or admission my earnings will take me back by a few years. SO some sort of social security system should be started for all and not only for poor.

Honorable Prime Minister, I wish you to announce one such program which would change the face of india, Similar to the jan dhan yojana and voluntary giving up of gas subsidy. Example: There are huge offerings made by indians to the holy places where the money remains unaccounted /non-utilized. inspite of this, the people are encouraged to put money in to some government fund for welfare/ reform program then huge sum of money would directly come in to the economy.
